Location: County Durham Sport Offices, however you will be required to travel within County Durham and occasionally regionally.

About the Role
County Durham Sport (CDS) is looking for a passionate, well organised and experienced Insight Coordinator to join the team.
The post holder will work closely within a small team to identify, digest and summarise complex data, research and insight from a number of sources, and effectively communicate insight-led recommendations to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support system and behaviour change.
The successful candidate will be passionate about the impact that sport and physical activity can have and will have a track record of undertaking research.
To maximise the use and dissemination of all available research, insight and intelligence in order to support partnership working and bring about systems change across the county in the area of Physical Activity.
To support and develop an evidence-based approach internally to identify areas for business improvement and expansion (to address ‘need’), support developmental processes, measure and demonstrate impact- helping staff to evaluate programme and project work.
To support and develop an evidence-based approach externally with a variety of county, national and international audiences and develop the county wide partnership approach to Physical Activity.
To curate and share research (communicating appropriately with our audiences) and make recommendations for business improvement from information gathered from the research landscape.
To contribute to the development of the learning culture internally.
