Bishop Auckland Netball Club – Assistant Coaches

Bishop Auckland Netball Club is looking for a qualified netball coach with a strong background in the sport to become part of their team.
Duties:
Attend any related club events such as match days, meetings, festivals and training camps
To contribute to a professional, friendly atmosphere, ensuring all those taking part are properly guided and supervised
To carry out pre-activity checks at the start of each session to ensure the venue, equipment and activity are safe and free from hazards and to make sure the session is safe throughout, returning and storing all equipment securely
To ensure any required administration is completed, including where applicable, records of attendance and Accident/Incident Forms
To inform the Head Coach well in advance if exceptional circumstances arise and you cannot attend
To supervise players during sessions and dispersal after the session, ensuring good behaviour and safe conduct
To undertake relevant training courses as appropriate

Ability to work unsupervised
Qualifications & Training:
UKCC Level 1 or above Netball Coaching
Minimum operating standards of coaching & capable of differentiating coaching sessions
Safeguarding & Protecting Children course
Equality in Sport
First Aid qualification
Enhanced DBS Checked
Experience:
Experience of coaching young people
Experience of working in or with the voluntary sports clubs, volunteers and officials
Understand player pathways and coaching guidelines relevant to the coaching role
