County Durham Sport is delighted to announce the appointment of Lara Lill as Interim Director.
“I am delighted to be working with County Durham Sport during this interim period. Having over twenty years’ experience within the sport and physical activity sector, I am fully supportive of the continued commitment to helping County Durham get more people active. My previous experience includes working within a large national governing body, a not for profit organisation, the education sector and more recently running my own consultancy. I am very much looking forward to working with the wide range of partners to continue the collaboration of activities and programmes.
I have a great passion for participating in all sport and physical activity and have a very active family! I am also a regular volunteer so I get to see all sides of how it contributes to a happy and healthy lifestyle. Please do drop me a line if you’d like to meet or catch up, I hope to get to know as many people as possible who play an integral role in shaping the physical activity landscape within County Durham and beyond.”
Lara will be in post for 6 months.
