SAFEGUARDING ADULTS AT RISK

County Durham Sport have a responsibility and are committed to safeguarding the welfare of adults at risk involved in sport and physical activity across County Durham. This includes activities which are funded or supported by County Durham Sport. All adults are entitled to protection from harm and have the right to take part in sport and physical activity in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.

We are committed to working with a wide range of agencies across County Durham and with regional and national organisations to ensure that information, training and education and advice and guidance are available for individuals and organisations delivering sport & physical activity to adults across the county.
