County Durham Sport is committed to making sport a safer place for children, young people and vulnerable adults to participate in.
We aim to raise awareness of safeguarding issues and support those working in sport to give them the knowledge and guidance they need to help to protect vulnerable groups and minimise risks. We will educate and support those delivering activity ensuring that children, young people and vulnerable adults can enjoy and get the very best from their involvement in sport in County Durham.
An extensive range of advice and guidance can be found on the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) website.
