Safeguarding Guidance for Parents/Carers/Guardians
This document has been produced in order to provide specific guidance for parents/carers/guardians on what constitutes good practice in relation to sporting activities, useful tips for deciding upon suitable activities as well as relevant reporting mechanisms and useful safeguarding contacts.

Helping Keep Your Child Safe in Sport: Child Protection Leaflet for Parents
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) have produced an information leaflet to help guide parents and guardians to keep their children safe in sporting activities. The leaflet provides information to help parents and guardians to choose the right sports club for their children. It gives an insight into the type of questions they need to consider, and some knowledge of what they should expect from any sports club or sports provider.

Have Fun and Be Safe: A guide to help parents and carers choose children's activities
The NSPCC have also produced some guidance and a leaflet to help parents and carers when choosing activities for their children.

This booklet gives simple information and advice to help you keep your children safe from sexual abuse.
