Year 6 Our Lady of the Rosary pupils pass skills awards

Year 6 Pupils from Peterlee School "Our Lady of the Rosary" recently passed Rugby League Skills awards.

Completing a 6 week course given by Peterlee Pumas the pupils were put through their paces and came through with flying colours.

Mr Andrew Bainbridge said "Class 1 have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and developed their skills and enthusiasm for the game. Our girls in particular have made outstanding progress."

The Pumas and School have renewed a long standing school-club link and have strong links with other schools where they plan to deliver the skills award to also and the club hopes to set up more links with other primary schools in the coming school term.
