When Gateshead Thunder signed Jamie at the beginning of the 2010 season, he showed that he had a good skill set and personal fitness to progress and go further in the game.

Throughout this year he has worked hard on every facet of his game, improving those skills and fitness to a high level, and is now becoming a competent and competitive player.'
