Inclusive Club Grants Programme - Funding round 2 is now open for applications

EFDS

English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is pleased to announce a second round of grants to support local clubs to develop inclusive sporting provision.

The inclusive clubs grant scheme has been developed in partnership with the Coalfield Regeneration Trust and will focus upon coalfield regeneration areas within the North and Midlands Regions.

The scheme which brings over £50,000 of investment into inclusive sport provision focuses on the Coalfields priority sports of Athletics, Football, Rugby (All codes) and Cricket; as well as multi sport clubs focusing on these sports. Grants of up to £1000 are available to help clubs develop an accessible and inclusive environment by providing much needed funds to support club development, volunteer training and equipment.

Eligible projects should have spent the grant prior to March 31 2011, with priority given to groups who have not previously received a micro grant from the Coalfield Regeneration Trust. The closing date for the second round of applications is 16 July 2010.

If you require any further information, please contact Patrick Bonner, EFDS North East Regional Development Manager on 0191 334 7207 or Patrick.bonner@durham.ac.uk

Please see the documents below which will be needed by clubs to complete an application, including a table to indicate the areas which are eligible to apply. (Please note that your club does not necessarily have to be situated in a Coalfield Regeneration Ward - applications will be considered from clubs which are just outside eligible ward boundaries as long as the club serves people within an eligible ward.)
