Get Walking Keep Walking Durham Launch Success
Get Walking Keep Walking Durham was launched in glorious sunshine on Sunday 6 March. People came from across Teesdale and further afield to join TV and radio presenter Diane Youdale (former Gladiator Jet) on a history walk around the beautiful grounds of Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle. Families also took part in an orienteering challenge, cracking the code and claiming their prizes in record time. A good time was had by all, even the father of two from Barnard Castle who said he'd been dragged along by his family and would rather have been watching the cricket!
Led walks now start in Barnard Castle and Middleton in Teesdale on Wednesday 16 March and in Bishop Auckland on Thursday 17 March. All are welcome, contact Marianne on 07557119497 for more information.
