Congratulations to Sedgefield Harriers on achieving Clubmark
Sedgefield Harriers have been awarded Clubmark Status by national governing body England Athletics. The status means that the club meets the required standards in things like management, environment and safeguarding young people. It is the culmination of a lot of work led by Clubmark Coordinator Jo James.
The status is primarlily aimed at the junior section of the club but is regarded as a wider measure of the Club's management and structure. More importantly, Clubmark status is nationally recognised across all sports organisations and allows partners the confidence to work with and support the club financially and practically. The Clubmark certificate was presented to the club at the junior presentation night on Friday 8 October by England Athletics Club Coach and Support Officer John Stacey.
