August 2010. This Sport England report contains nine regional commentaries which assess the economic importance of sport in England and how that's changed over the past 25 years.

Understanding the drivers, impact and value of engagement in culture and sport
July 2010. This is a high level summary of all the research. The report contains an introductory section from CASE explaining how the range of findings and resources detailed on this page, and in the wider CASE programme, can feed into a variety of national and local policy processes.

The economic importance of sport in the North East, 2000-2005
Dec 2007. This report has been prepared by the Sport Industry Research Centre (SIRC) on behalf of Sport England. The purpose of the report is to provide an estimate of the economic importance of sport in the North East region.

The impact of achieving Sport England's target for making England an active nation by 2020
2001. Game Plan sets the challenge of moving from 30% of the population being regularly active in 2998 to 70% in 2020. This report outlines the impact of achieving this target by 2020.
