Offer to Workplaces: Rowing is often used as a metaphor for excellent teamwork within the workplace. Durham Amateur Rowing Club's Explore Rowing Learn to Row Course is a fun way to learn a new, exciting and rewarding activity. Subject to numbers, specially timed and tailored courses can be offered to workplaces to suit shift working and other limitations. Discounts are available for full-capacity courses (14), and this includes temporary membership to British Rowing. Each course ends with a mini fun regatta, so the opportunity exists for departments to pit themselves against each other at the end of each 10-week course. Each course is led by a fully-qualifed rowing coach.
