The aim of this organisation is to promote the sport of cricket in County Durham and their primary objects are:
- To organise and assist in the provision of cricket facilities for students of schools, universities and other places of higher education in County Durham;
- Providing or assisting in the provision of sports equipment, lectures, courses, demonstrations or coaching to students;
- Helping to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged people through the sport of cricket.
During 2002, 4 grants were awarded to cricket clubs and boards, totalling over £20,000. Applications should be made in writing to the correspondent.
