Awards for All gives grants for projects relating to art, heritage, sport, community activities and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community. The scheme awards grants of between £300 and £10,000. In order to be eligible for an Awards for All grant, your project must meet at least one of their aims, which are to:
- Extend access and participation;
- Increase skill and creativity;
- Improve the quality of life.
There is also a Regional outcome and although your project does not have to deliver one of these it will prioritise when there is insufficient funds to support all applications. The North East Regional outcomes are:
- Increased involvement from people who face barriers to participation
- More opportunities and support for volunteers
- Healthier lifestyles for the whole the community
- Different communities working closer together
Applications forms and guidance notes are available from the Awards for All website. Applications take around 8 weeks to assess. They will not fund individuals.
