About Us
County Durham Sport is one of 49 County Sports Partnerships across England. We work together with local, regional and national organisations to raise the profile of sport within County Durham and co-ordinate the sports development opportunities in the county.
County Durham Sport was established in 1996 as the first County Sports Partnerships in the country. We were also the first to submit an Active Sport bid.
