Active Durham Sport and Physical Activity Awards
The awards, hosted by the Active Durham partnership, recognise the outstanding achievements of participants in all aspects of sport and physical activity: athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials and teachers who develop and deliver sport and physical activity in schools, clubs and community settings throughout County Durham.
The glittering awards ceremony held at the Gala Theatre in Durham City, was the culmination of four local awards held in Derwentside, Durham & Chester le Street, East Durham & Sedgefield and Mid-Durham & Dales with the winners in 13 categories from each area competing against each other for the County accolades.
